Faisal Malik Design Logo

“Nestled amidst the lively streets of Bangkok, my studio/gallery serves as a sanctuary where I channel my passion for precision and dedication to the highest levels of artistry.”

At the heart of his craft, lies a deep reverence for the rare and storied Thai timbers that Faisal Malik has the privilege to work with. These woods, steeped in centuries of history and passed down through generations of families, carry within them the echoes of bygone eras. With each piece he creates, whether it be a majestic dining table or a delicate tea tray, Faisal strives to honor the cultural significance and unique stories embedded within these materials.

Utilizing a blend of traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology, Faisal continuously seeks to push the boundaries of his craft, infusing each creation with a fresh perspective and innovative flair.

Collaboration plays a significant role in his work, particularly in the realm of bespoke tableware and hospitality accent furniture. Partnering with culinary experts and five-stars hotels and resorts, he designs custom plates, serving vessels that not only complement the exquisite flavors of gourmet cuisine but also serve as conduits for storytelling and shared experiences.

Beyond the confines of his workshop, Faisal is fortunate to share his artistic journey with his wife, a talented woodturner hailing from France. Together, they weave a narrative that seamlessly integrates the rich artistic heritage of Asia with the elegance of Western craftsmanship. The gallery space serves as a testament to this fusion, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of our creations and the passion that drives their craft.

Working together with the Kinn Collective team has been a very positive experience. They have  knowledge of materials and functionality while understanding to provide a level of artistic freedom. Not to mention they are very professional and kind. This makes the entire process very efficient, enjoyable and ensures a quality end result for the client. I’ve working together with Kinn on Layla, Taymouth Castle and look forward to more collaborations.
